The sculptor, Francisco Arráez, is now showing a sample of his most recent work, made in 2011 and 2012. In a certain way, it implies a renewal of the techniques and materials he had been using before. His artistic interest is now making him research new materials and mix traditional ones, as stone and iron, together with others more innovative, as polymethyl methacrylate.

But this renewal goes beyond materials. A new concept in the use of light and colour, characteristic of painting, bursts into the world of sculpture in the way of colour flashes in methacrylates, of transparencies in materials which give place to lights and shadows next to the opacity of iron, stone, bronze or wood. It is the game of space, light, shape and colour.
